It is necessary to apply an herbicide root control product within the sanitary sewer lines in order to kill the root growth present and to control regrowth without damaging the vegetation producing the roots. The Division of Sewer has anticipated several sanitary sewer lines that need maintenance. It is the Director's recommendation to procure services for a company to provide Root Control Services.
