Pipelines need to be thoroughly cleaned for effective inspection, so cleaning may include "heavy cleaning". Root removal would be considered a change in condition. The City will allow dumping at the City's vactor waste dump site, located at the City's Wastewater Treatment Facility at 1205 W State Street. The Vendor shall decant waste into the City's RV dump connection, and the grit will be disposed of in the vactor waste dump site. Perform CCTV video inspections of assigned City sanitary sewer mains in the INP and PS2 sewer basins using National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) Pipeline Assessment and Certification Program (PACP) compliant software. The City has budget constraints for this project. While the intent is to clean and inspect the entirety of the INP and PS2 basins, this scope may be reduced depending on cost. If scope is reduced, it will be facilities that are removed from the scope and not tasks. All mains that are cleaned will be inspected. Provide a NASSCO PACP database that allows for the import of CCTV inspection data into a suitable digital format. The format will need to be approved by the City prior to beginning the work. Provide all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, technical expertise, safety, equipment, and service operation to complete the task. Document location, size, and material of existing sewer laterals. Perform CCTV video inspections of any sewer laterals, if warranted and approved by the City. Contact a City representative when encountering mainline or side sewer issues that could cause potential backups or issues. Contact list to be provided at the preconstruction meeting. Have a written safety policy and provided to the City upon request.
