Sealed bids will be received for the procurement of major electrical equipment for the Farragut Stormwater Pump Station Electrical Equipment Package. All bids must be on the provided forms and must be sealed and marked with the bid opening date and contract number. Bids may not be faxed or emailed. Bidders are directed to solicit and consider minority and women owned businesses as potential subcontractors and material suppliers for this contract. Minority and women owned businesses shall be actively solicited for participation in this project. All questions regarding the bid should be addressed in writing for consideration a minimum of 48 hours prior to the bid cut-off date and time. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities. The contract is intended to be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, and disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to participate and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin, or sex.
