Renovation of a municipal facility in Aberdeen, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Request for quotations to furnish and install three replacement windows at the District office. The project includes removal and disposal of existing windows and installation of new residential-grade windows with enhanced noise reduction and security, including laminated glass and insect screens. Contractors are encouraged to visit the site to verify conditions. Quotes must be submitted electronically in PDF format. All submittals and questions must be directed to the District Clerk. Dali Stires Grays Harbor County Water District No. 2 Email: dali@ghcwd2.gov The successful contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to remove and replace three (3) existing office windows, including proper installation, sealing, trim, cleanup, and disposal. 2.1. Windows Quantities & Sizes (approximate) o (1) window approximately 46 inches wide by 40 inches high o (2) windows approximately 70 inches wide x 40 inches high Contractor shall field-verify all measurements prior to fabrication. 3. Window Requirements Windows shall meet or exceed the following minimum requirements: o Residential-grade windows o Vinyl frames (or equivalent approved material) o Double-pane insulated glass o Low-E coating o Energy-code compliant Noise Reduction & Security Due to proximity to Highway 12 and the presence of high-value equipment within the office, windows shall emphasize sound attenuation and security: o Insulated glass units shall include laminated glass or equivalent sound-attenuating glazing o Window assemblies shall be designed to reduce exterior traffic noise o Laminated glass shall provide enhanced resistance to breakage o Windows shall include secure locking hardware suitable for a public office environment 4. Screens Vendors shall submit one (1) electronic PDF that includes: o Full insect screens shall be provided for each window o Screens shall be removable and compatible with the window operation type o Screen frames shall match window frame color 5. Installation Requirements o Removal and disposal of existing windows included o Weather-tight installation o Interior and exterior trim as required for a finished appearance o Work shall be performed in a professional manner suitable for an occupied office 6. Site Visit/Field Verification Contractors are encouraged to visit the District office to verify existing conditions, measurements, and installation requirements prior to submitting a quotation. Site visits will be available during the following dates and times: o January 13th - 15th 2026 o 8am - 11am Contractors must contact the District Clerk to coordinate a visit during the site visit period. Submission of a quotation shall constitute acknowledgment that the contractor has either visited the site and verified conditions or has chosen to submit a quotation without a site visit. Failure to visit the site shall not relieve the contractor of responsibility for completing the work as specified for the quoted price, nor shall it be grounds for additional compensation due to conditions that could have been reasonably observed during a site visit. 7. Permits & Inspections The contractor is responsible for determining and obtaining any required permits and inspections associated with the work.
