Site work for a development in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade development.

The project is for Street Tree Block Pruning. Sealed bids are invited for the work, which is subject to all applicable provisions of law and the terms and provisions of the contract documents. The contract term will be for one year with two one-year renewal options at the sole discretion of the Parks and Recreation Department. Renewal options for years two and three will be at the same price and subject to the same contract provisions as the first year. Bids must be submitted on a form supplied by the Parks and Recreation Department, clearly identified as a bid and signed by the bidder, and labeled with the project name. Bids require a deposit of 5 percent of the bid amount in the form of a bid bond, certified check, treasurer's check, or cashier's check, from a surety company qualified under Commonwealth law and satisfactory to the Commissioner, payable to the City of Boston. Workforce requirements for this contract are Minority, 40 percent; Boston Resident, 51 percent; and Female, 12 percent. The successful bidder will be required to provide insurance for the payment of compensation and other benefits under the Workmen's Compensation Law, General Laws, chapter 152, to all persons employed under the contract, with sufficient proof required before contract performance. The successful general contractor will also need to provide a performance bond and a labor and materials or payment bond, each from a surety qualified to do business under the Commonwealth's laws and satisfactory to the Commissioner, in the sum of 100 percent of the contract price, as well as certain public liability and property damage insurance. Specifications and plans will be available for review at the designated location or by request via email. Question Deadline 10/13/2025 All questions as to the interpretation of the Invitation for Bids, Purchase Description and Specifications, Evaluation Criteria and all other contract documents shall be submitted in writing to the Official. No questions will be answered unless received by the Official at least seventy-two hours prior to the expiration of the time set for filing bids.
