The Housing Authority of the City of Bayonne is soliciting bids for the replacement of stair treads and VCT tiles at Bridgeview Manor. Sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the contract documents and related addenda, and must be delivered to the address provided. Bids must be in a sealed envelope with the contract designation, and the name, address, and telephone number of the Bidder clearly marked. An original and two copies should be submitted. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified check issued by a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company listed in U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570, as well as the affidavits referred to in the Instructions to Bidders, and a Consent of Surety. Compliance with applicable wage requirements, business registration, and affirmative action regulations is required. The successful Bidder must obtain Performance and Maintenance Bonds from a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids, make awards in its best interest, and waive any informalities in bids submitted. Bidders are required to submit a Statement of Ownership. Only entities in whose name documentation is submitted are eligible for award; related or affiliate companies are not automatically qualified. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after the opening without Authority consent.
