The project consists of kitchen modernization at Back Bay Gardens. Bids for this work are to be submitted in accordance with the contract documents provided, including any issued addenda. Detailed requirements for bidding can be found in the bid package available from the Authoritys website. Each bidder must submit their bid in a sealed envelope containing the designation of the contract, the name, address, and telephone number of the bidder, as well as an original and two copies. Bids must include a Bid Bond from a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company or a certified check as required in the specifications, along with all affidavits referred to in the Instructions to Bidders. A Consent of Surety from a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company must also be provided, stating the issuance of performance and maintenance bonds if the contract is awarded. Compliance with Davis-Bacon Wage Requirements, business registration provisions, Affirmative Action Regulations, and all relevant legal obligations is mandatory. Only the entity named in the submission is eligible for the award; related entities are not automatically qualified. The Authority reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, and to make awards as deemed in its best interest.
