Renovation of a multi-residential development in Bayonne, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade multi-residential development.

The work involves the replacement of peaked roofs at Pamrapo Gardens (12-1), Bergen Point Gardens (12-2), Centerville Gardens (12-3), and La Tourette Gardens (12-4) for the Housing Authority of the City of Bayonne. Bids are to be received in sealed envelopes properly labeled with the contract designation and bidder information. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a New Jersey Licensed Surety Company listed in the most recently published U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570 or a certified check in the specified amount. A Consent of Surety from such a company is also required, stating it will issue necessary performance and maintenance bonds if the contract is awarded. Bids must include all affidavits referenced in the Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must comply with Davis-Bacon Wage Requirements, business registration provisions, Affirmative Action Regulations, Chapter 33 of the Public Laws of 1977, Public Law of 1975 Chapter 127, and all federal Affirmative Action Programs. A Statement of Ownership is required. The successful bidder must obtain a Performance Bond for the full contract amount and a Maintenance Bond for a defined percentage of the construction cost. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days without the Authority's consent. The Authority reserves the right to waive informalities, reject any or all bids, and make awards in its best interest. Only the entity in whose name the bid documents are submitted may be awarded the contract; related entities are not automatically qualified. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Authority, as directed by the Specifications. Envelopes shall contain, on the exterior, the designation of the contract for which the bid is entered, and the name, address and telephone number of the Bidder. An original and two (2) copies should be submitted.
