As-Needed construction services for the Airport Pavement and Drainage Improvement Project to provide the San Francisco International Airport (Airport) with an on-call contractor to perform urgent repair and maintenance work to the Airport that is beyond the immediate capabilities of the Airport Maintenance staff and to minimize impacts on Airport operations. Examples of Work to be performed under this As-Needed Contract include rubber removal, storm drainage improvements, and pavement reconstruction and overlays in areas throughout the Airport. The Contract duration is Time is three (3) years and an option to extend the term by two (2) years for the full five (5) years beginning on the date the Contract is certified by the Controller. In accordance with Francisco Administrative Code Section 6.64(a), regardless of the Contract duration, no Contract Service Order (CSO) will be issued after four years from the certification date of the Contract. If the Contract durations is less than four years, CSOs may by issued throughout the entire Contract duration. Refer to Document 00 54 39.01 (Contract Time and Liquidated Damages) for additional details. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The estimated cost of construction is $8,500,000 - $9,500,000. California Class "A or C" license is required at the time of Bid. The Local Business Enterprise (LBE) subcontracting requirement is 18% of the Contract Sum. Question Submission Deadline:October 1, 2025, 5:00pm Bidder shall have this Bid Bond form executed as indicated below unless the Bid is accompanied by certified check or Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit. KNOW ALL BY THESE PRESENTS: That the undersigned General Contractor as principal and the undersigned Surety as obligor, are held and firmly bound unto the City and County of San Francisco, a municipal corporation, as obligee, in the penal sum of 10% of the amount bid, lawful money of the United States of America, for the payment of which, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our successors, executors, administrators and assigns, jointly and severally, firmly by these presents.
