Reference Number 0000400148 Bid Intent Not Available Las Animas County is seeking sealed Bids from qualified bidders for the removal and replacement of six (6) existing doors with automatic (motion operated) Stanley DURAFIT 6 panel sliding glass doors at our County Courthouse (CH). Option 1 is for the removal and replacement of two (2) additional doors with automatic (motion operated) Stanley DURAFIT 6 panel sliding glass doors that provide ingress and egress to the CH courtyard. If available, ALTERNATE 1 will replace the eight (8) previously listed doors with DURASHIELD 6 panel sliding glass doors. Value Engineering Proposals (Optional): Bidders may submit value engineering suggestions for cost savings, efficiency improvements, or alternative methods/materials as a separate addendum to the base bid. These proposals must: Be submitted on the sheet titled "Value Engineering Proposal" contained within this solicitation. Clearly identify the proposed change or alternative (example: if DURASHIELD is unavailable perhaps the installation of a 'bullet' resistant glazing/film on the DURAFIT windows). Include a detailed description, technical justification, and cost impact. Be clearly labeled as "Value Engineering Proposal" and submitted alongside as an addendum to the compliant base bid.
