Question Deadline 10/07/2025 at 5:00 PM PT All Questions or Requested Clarifications Shall Be Made in Writing via Email at Pubwks@cityqfwhittier.org The Bailey Street Sewer Replacement Project consists of the replacement of approximately 1,275 LF (Attachment A) of existing 6-inch vitrified clay sewer main with new 8-inch diameter polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sewer pipeline at various locations. The scope of work also includes removing existing manholes and replacing them with new concrete manholes at multiple locations, removing an existing 8-inch sewer bypass, connecting the existing sewer main on Hill Avenue to the new manhole on Bailey Street, and connecting the new sewer main to the existing manhole on Painter Avenue, in accordance with the project plans as specified hereinafter, project specifications as specified hereinafter for the Whittier Utility Authority, Los Angeles County, State of California, and in accordance with the Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction (The Greenbook), 2021 Edition. Contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, materials, appliances, and equipment to complete the project and be responsible for obtaining a no fee excavation permit(s) for the project from the City of Whittier, Public Works Department.
