Site work for a development in Virginia City, Montana. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade development.
The project consists of stream restoration efforts on Granite Creek and Alder Gulch near Virginia City, MT, involving channel and floodplain regrading work and vegetation planting. The channel and floodplain regrading will begin on Granite Creek approximately 250 feet upstream from its confluence with Alder Gulch and will continue downstream to a private bridge crossing around 300 feet downstream of the Granite Creek and Alder Gulch confluence. Vegetation planting will include constructing and installing willow trenches and placing salvaged willow plants throughout the floodplain. In addition, the Drawings and Project Manual may also be examined at the following locations online. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be submitted in writing to and must be received by Great West Engineering. Oral questions will only be accepted at the Pre-Bid conference. Written comments may be submitted to Justin Evertz of Great West Engineering by mail at: 2501 Belt View Drive, Helena, MT 59601 or email at: jevertz@greatwesteng.com. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered..
