We are seeking a qualified and experienced Archaeologist to support the Courthouse Project. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local archaeological and cultural resource regulations throughout the courthouse's planning and construction phases. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct archaeological surveys and assessments of the project site. - Prepare and submit all necessary archaeological documentation and reports. - Advise on regulatory compliance and mitigation measures. - Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies. - Monitor construction activities to ensure preservation of significant archaeological resources. Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with public infrastructure or government projects. - Demonstrated experience with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and state/local cultural resource laws. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
