Renovation of a multi-residential development in Okanogan, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade, 28-unit multi-residential development.

The scope of services may include, but is not limited to, preparation of preliminary plans and developing cost estimates for rehabilitation on the property that is focused on safety and health issues, along with implementation of the Evergreen Sustainable Development Standard as it pertains to the development. Immediate work will include preparing a preliminary cost estimate for the purpose of finalizing the USDA RD transfer application. The contracted architectural firm is expected to be familiar with the USDA Chapter 7 transfer process and related rules, regulations, and forms for the transfer application, bidding, and contracting process for USDA RD. Familiarity with the Washington State Evergreens Standards (ESDS) requirements and process is also required, as the project will be funded by the Washington State Department of Commerce. A recently completed CNA will be provided. Preliminary cost estimates and schematic design are required for a funding application. Once funded, the architectural firm will prepare all SD, DD, and CD documents for permitting and bidding, lead the public bidding process, conduct construction oversight, and act as ESDS project administrator. Proposals should be submitted electronically and must include a signed Statement of Qualifications, Non-Collusion Affidavit, current Certificate of Professional Liability Insurance, and a narrative response addressing evaluation criteria. Proposals should be concise and straightforward, including professional licenses and authority to do business in the State of Washington. The AIA B305, Architect's Qualification Statement or equivalent is required. Any additional relevant information should be provided as an appendix. Other required documents and evaluation criteria are specified. Failure to provide all required information will result in rejection.
