Renovation of a military facility in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade military facility.
The project includes the complete removal and replacement of the roofing membrane, insulation, and sheet metal flashing, along with associated ventilation and electrical work. Additionally, the scope includes door and window replacement and limited masonry repair. Replace Roofing System and Repair Exterior at Joliet Readiness Center - Will County. MBE/WBE Subcontracting and Supplier Goals apply. Single Trade delivery method. PLA Applicable. General remodeling and rehabilitation, with a cost range of less than $2,500,000. Question Deadline 10/20/2025 The combined PBE/VBE goal for this contract is 2% (Two percent) of the amount of the contract awarded by CDB The MBE goal for this contract is 20% The WBE goal for this contract is 5% Base Bid Scopes of Work a. The scope of work includes the replacement of approximately 24,000 square feet of roofing. This work will involve, but is not limited to, the installation of a new reflective membrane, high R-value insulation, flashings, trim, tuckpointing, and any necessary accessories. b. The façade scope includes repairs and upgrades to the exterior of the building, such as the replacement of windows and doors, sidewalk improvements, and tuckpointing.
