Site work and asbestos abatement for a stadium in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a stadium; and for asbestos abatement for a stadium.

All bidder questions must be submitted no later than October 20th at 4:00 PM. After this time, no further questions will be accepted. Former Stadium Club Asbestos/Lead Abatement Project. Question Deadline 10/14/2025 at 4:00 PM CT Questions will be received at online. Contractor shall be responsible for the removal of asbestos containing terrazzo flooring, switchboard, and mirror mastic, as well as lead based paint throughout, known or unknown. This shall include the complete removal of all windows and their associated components, and the removal of all plaster throughout the building as lead waste. All removal shall be completed utilizing gross removal methods within a full containment work area as identified on the accompanying drawings. Full containment work areas shall consist of critical seals, one layer of 4-mil poly on the walls and ceiling not scheduled for abatement. An attached 3-chamber decon and 2-chamber waste-out shall be constructed at the entry to the full containment work area. The Contractor shall follow all applicable IDPH, EPA, and OSHA rules and regulations. The Contractor shall install plywood barriers and/or lock doors with sufficient signage to isolate the building in order to prevent access by unauthorized personnel. Barriers shall be constructed in accordance with IDPH rules and regulations, Title 77 of the Illinois Administrative Code (77IAC), Section 855.430 Full containment work areas shall consist of critical seals, one layer of 4-mil poly on the walls and ceiling not scheduled for abatement. An attached 3-chamber decon and 2-chamber waste-out shall be constructed at the entry to the full containment work area. Removal of the windows shall be from the outside to the outside of the building. One layer of 6-mil poly dropcloth shall be placed on the ground below the window prior to removal of the window. This dropcloth shall be discarded as lead waste daily, and replaced with a new dropcloth the following shift. The window, glass, frame, and all other window components shall be removed from the building and to the outside of the building and disposed of as lead waste. Lead air sampling will be conducted during window removal to monitor airborne lead levels for the duration of the project
