Demolition, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Joliet, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 27,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; 3,100-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and 11,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.

Smith Building Renovations of approximately 11,000 SF, T&I Renovations of approximately 27,000 SF, and a 2 Story Link Addition of approximately 3,100 SF, including demolition, concrete work, excavation, structural and miscellaneous steel work, carpentry, casework and millwork, glass and glazing including curtain wall systems, resilient flooring, painting, acoustical ceilings, drywall and framing, ceramic tile, resinous flooring, signage, fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, low voltage and fire alarm. Substantial completion is scheduled for December 2026. Proposals are required to be submitted via Procore Bidding. All bidders must submit current qualifications through COMPASS. Bid Security in the form of a bid bond equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid is mandatory. Only Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid will be accepted from awarded bidders. All work must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. Only pre-qualified bidders in accordance with requirements will have their bids considered. Failure to comply with any requirements will result in disqualification.
