Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Medina, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project consists of the installation of a ten (10) foot wide concrete multi-purpose path along the east side of S. Broadway Street between E. Smith Road and E. Friendship Street. This new multi-purpose path will replace the existing concrete sidewalk of varying width. This project includes tree removal, grading, removal and replacement of existing concrete drive aprons, removal of existing sidewalk and curb ramps, installation of a new ten (10) foot wide concrete multi-purpose path, installation of new curb ramps, railing modification, installation of pavement markings, and placing landscaping and seeding. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier’s Check, or a bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total amount bid, made payable to the City of Medina, Ohio as guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into with the City within thirty (30) days and its performance secured by a performance bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price, and in default thereof, said check or bond will be forfeited to the City of Medina as liquidated damages. In addition, each bid must be accompanied by a noncollusion affidavit. Question Deadline 06/18/2026. The Engineer’s estimate is $372,000.00 for the Base Bid. The City has set the final completion date for the project as November 30, 2026; The City of Medina reserves the right to reject any and all bids and the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bidding.
