Site work for a water / sewer project in Melvin, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Installation of approximately 4,000 LF of 6" PVC water line, valves, hydrants, and appurtenances. Estimated costs are: Base Bid = $177,000; Alternate Bid #1 = $107,000; Alternate Bid #2 = $304,000. Bid bond required at 5%. Performance/payment bonds required at 100%. Contractors must order CONTRACT DOCUMENTS online, which are required for eligibility to bid. Only contractors who have purchased CONTRACT DOCUMENTS are considered registered plan holders eligible to bid. This contract is contingent upon release of funds from the Texas Water Development Board. Contracts are subject to American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements and the EPA Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program, with a good faith effort needed for procurement with Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises. The successful bidder must also ensure nondiscrimination in employment.
