As of November 7, 2025, no award yet, but anticipated to be awarded at the December 9th Board of Supervisors Meeting The work to be done consists, in general, of extending the water mains from Cal Water Visalia Service Area to Harrison Road and Avenue 266 to connect homes with dry wells, installing metered service connections, and fire hydrants. Other items or details not mentioned herein that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications or these Special Provisions must be performed, constructed, furnished or installed. Bidders may visit the project site This project is off of the Federal Highway System. The Project is to be completed within sixty (60) working days from the date to be established in the NOTICE TO PROCEED. The Contract includes provisions for Liquidated Damages if the Project is not timely completed. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. Submit the bidder's security in the form of cash, a bidder's bond, or a certified check or cashier's check, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the amount bid or the bid will be considered nonresponsive. The successful bidder must provide the performance bond, payment bond, workers compensation certificate, and liability insurance policy required by the Special Provisions and contract. two million dollars ($2,000,000) liability coverage is required for this project.
