Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Fresno, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-story above grade municipal facility.
The scope of work includes demolition and removal of the existing on-site buildings and associated improvements at 1515, 1541 N Effie Street, 1845 E Home Avenue, and 1538 N Blackstone Avenue. The project will also include the cutting and capping of the existing sewer and water utilities. Bidders must file bid proposals electronically using Planet Bids. All proposals must be made on the Bid Proposal Form provided by the Purchasing Manager. Bidders must be licensed with a valid Class C-21 Contractors License issued by the State of California at the time of bid opening. Contractors and Subcontractors must meet the requirements of Labor Code sections 1771.1 and 1771.5 prior to submitting bids. The use of the Citys Construction Management Information System (CMIS) for submission, management, and review of all project-related data and documents is mandatory. A 100 percent Payment Bond and 100 percent Performance Bond for all public works contracts of $25,000 or more must be filed with the Contract Documents and approved by the City before entering upon performance of the work.
