Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Maplewood, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of the installation of bike lanes with signage, striping as well as the construction of ADA curb ramps and sidewalk in accordance with current ADA and Maplewood Township regulations. Prospective bidders must submit bids on standard proposal forms as required by the specifications, enclosed in sealed and labeled inner and outer envelopes. Bidders must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27, submit a Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Division of Revenue, and a statement of all stockholders who own ten percent or greater of the corporation or partnership. Bids will be rejected if the disclosure statement is not included. Bidders must pay workmen the prevailing wage rate as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Industry for the project. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive minor informalities or irregularities, and to accept any bid if deemed in the Township's best interest. Question Deadline 10/08/2025 Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Township of Maplewood, 574 Valley Street, MAPLEWOOD, NJ 07040. Any inquiry received nine (9) or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of Bids will be given consideration.
