Requests for Clarifications, Corrections or Modifications:October 14, 2025, 4:00pm The City of Modesto (City) is soliciting Request for Proposals / Request for Qualifications (RFP / RFQ) for Construction Management and Inspection Services for the Area 7 Septic to Sewer Conversion Project for the City of Modesto. Stanislaus County Area 7 is a disadvantaged, unincorporated community located in West Modesto. Currently, 112 properties in the area rely on individual septic systems for domestic wastewater treatment. To address public health and environmental concerns associated with aging and failing septic systems the City of Modesto and Stanislaus County are collaborating to implement a sanitary sewer infrastructure improvement project. The Area 7 Septic to Sewer Conversion Project will provide improvements for 112 properties by connecting them to the City of Modesto's existing sanitary sewer collection system. through the installation of new sewer mains and laterals. Project scope includes onsite improvements such as the abandonment of existing septic tanks, installation of upper sewer laterals, single grinder pumps, and full restoration of all disturbed areas - including hardscape, landscaping, fencing, irrigation systems, and other surface features. This project is funded by the City of Modesto's Wastewater Fund, with reimbursement provided through state grant funding. Construction is anticipated to be completed within 150 working days.
