The county of stanislaus (county) is seeking bids from qualified and experienced contractors with valid c-57 driller contractor's license(s), and current dir registration numbers to perform the drill, construct and develop one (1) triple completion set of interconnected surface water (isw) monitoring wells at orchard road off maze boulevard (highway 132) and south river road in modesto, california, near the san joaquin river, located at 3737'52.2"N, 12113'39.5"W. ("Project"). No Pre-Bid Conference will be held. Question Deadline 10/09/2025 at 5:00 PM PT SCOPE OF WORK A. Purpose - A triple completion monitoring well will be drilled, constructed, and developed as part of the project. Minimum 8 3/4 -inch diameter test hole shall be drilled which shall serve to evaluate the lithologic characteristics of subsurface formations and aquifers at the candidate well sites to determine characteristics of the aquifer materials through geophysical surveys and measurements. The monitoring well will be used to sample ground water and measure water levels at selected depth horizons. The monitoring well will be constructed of 2-inch diameter Schedule 40 PVC casing and shall have a screen slot size of 0.030-inches.
