Renovation of a museum in Erie, Pennsylvania. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade museum.

The scope of work is intended to enhance the structural integrity of the Erie Maritime Museum by addressing water infiltration issues. The museum offices and gallery spaces are experiencing water infiltration due to failures in the building envelope. The goal is to conduct masonry repairs while also incorporating installation of expansion joints. Window replacement is necessary as these elements have exceeded their life expectancy and are failing. This work will update the windows while making the building watertight and allow for a preventative maintenance program. The Department of General Services Capital Programs and the Bureau of Diversity, Inclusion and Small Business Opportunities identified this procurement as eligible for the setting of Small Diverse Business (SDB) and/or Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goals.
