Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Lake George, Michigan. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade playground / park / athletic field.
**As of November 19, 2025 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing playground equipment, including furnish and install, with safety surfacing. All necessary appurtenances and restoration are also part of the project. Bids must be submitted with a bid bond, certified check, or cashier’s check payable to Lincoln Township in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of thirty (30) days after the receipt of bids. Contract documents may be examined online or at designated offices or plan rooms. Drawings, specifications, and bidding documents are available only to pre-qualified bidders or members of the plan room. The work will be financed by funds from the Council of Michigan Foundations, and all relevant State or Federal requirements apply. The contractor and any sub-contractors must comply with applicable civil rights acts, safety acts, and wage laws. Use of sub-contractors is acceptable, with an emphasis on maximum participation by veteran-owned, small, minority businesses, and women’s business enterprises. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
