The City of Asheville, North Carolina is advertising for qualified firms to provide professional services for the first phase of a multiyear Stormwater Asset Inventory and Assessment project. The scope includes upfront planning and process implementation for the current and future project phases, comprehensive mapping of the existing stormwater conveyance system, standardized infrastructure condition assessments, inspection reports, and recommendations for strategic watershed planning to increase resiliency and sustainability, targeting aging infrastructure. Priority will be given to areas identified as potentially underserved and those most affected by flooding, runoff, erosion, and in the watershed of impaired streams and waterbodies. Statements of Qualifications must be electronically submitted via email and signed by an authorized representative. Faxed or mailed proposals will not be accepted. Submittals must comply with city policies, including a prohibition on contracts with firms delinquent in city ad valorem taxes, and the requirement that the contractor provide a drug-free workplace. All questions must be submitted via email.
