The City of Bondurant seeks competitive quotes for the construction of a combined basketball and pickleball court facility at Wolf Creek Park. The project includes site preparation, grading, and the installation of a new 60' x 60' paved court area with associated improvements: installation of new asphalt pavement for the court, 5-inch PCC pavement to connect the court to the sidewalk, painted playing lines, installation of owner-provided basketball hoop systems with reinforced post footings, 6-foot black chain-link fencing to enclose the court area, earthwork and grading for drainage, construction of doweled isolation joints, tying into existing grades, and implementing erosion and sediment control per SUDAS requirements. All work must conform to 2025 Iowa Statewide Urban Design and Specifications (SUDAS) and City of Bondurant standards. Construction may begin in 2025, weather permitting, but must be substantially completed no later than May 31, 2026. Phase 2 improvements are not included in this project. Quotes must be submitted via email using the provided Competitive Quote Form; other forms or delivery methods are not accepted. Quotes must include prices for labor, materials, equipment, and supplies. Contractors must agree to provide required insurance at the time of award, and the City will issue sales tax exemption certificates for project materials. Performance/payment bonds are required. The contract is awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible quoter; the City reserves the right to reject any or all quotes.
