The work includes site preparation, grading, paving, and associated improvements to expand the existing parking facilities at Eagle Park, located at 320 2nd Street NW, Bondurant, Iowa. Contractors must provide pricing for a Base Quote (the primary work shown in the plans) and a separately listed Alternate 1 (as identified on the plans). The City reserves the right to accept or reject Alternate 1 independently of the base bid. The scope of work includes: o Site Preparation and Demolition: Remove and dispose of existing PCC pavement, gravel path, pavement markings, five bollards, and one existing tree; salvage and relocate existing limestone boulders and landscaping stone as shown in Exhibit A. o Grading: Strip and respread topsoil, perform subgrade preparation, and establish positive drainage in accordance with SUDAS and the project's grading specifications as shown in Exhibit A. o PCC Pavement: Install new 6-inch and 5-inch PCC paving for the expanded parking area and pedestrian connections per Exhibit A. o Accessible Parking and Signage: Install ADA-compliant parking space, pavement markings, and signs per ADA and MUTCD requirements. o Bollards and Landscape Features: Install new 6 x 6 timber bollards, place salvaged limestone boulders, and install new landscape stone as detailed in Exhibit A. o Erosion Control: Implement erosion control as noted in Exhibit A. o General Standards: All work shall conform to the latest Iowa Statewide Urban Design and Specifications (SUDAS) and City of Bondurant standards unless otherwise noted.
