construction of the Frontier Phase 3A & 3B - Water, Sewer, and Drainage Improvements GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK Water Improvements: Approximately 7,800 LF of 8" PVC water line, 3,500 LF of 12" PVC Water line, 8" & 12" gate valves, fire hydrants, water services, and related items as depicted for the 185-lot development. Sewer Improvements: Approximately 40 LF of 6" PVC sewer line, 7,600 LF of 8" sewer line, 340 LF of 10" PVC sewer line, 4" sanitary sewer services to 185 lots, 4'-6' manholes, trench water stops and related items as depicted for the 185-lot development. Drainage Improvements: 18-60" RCP, 36" CMP, 7'x3' SBC, 7'x4' SBC, 8'x4' SBC, 10'x4' SBC drain systems, curb inlets, headwalls, safety end treatments, junction boxes, stone riprap, grade-to-drain channels and other related items as depicted for the 185-lot development. The above improvements are a part of the "Plans for the Construction of Water, Sewer, and Drainage Improvements to Serve Frontier Phase 3A & 3B" as prepared by Pape-Dawson. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check acceptable to the District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date the Contractor is notified.
