Site work, outdoor lighting and renovation of a water / sewer project in San Francisco, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; for outdoor lighting for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

*As of December 9th, 2025, this project has been awarded to Roebuck Construction for $7.31M.* The base work will consist of: Pier 9: Remove, repair, and/or replace deteriorated roofing materials, roof decking, parapet elements, ladders, flagpoles, conduit, roof equipment and related utility connections, exterior lights, and roof drainage system. New exterior lights and overflow drains will be added to the roof system; and Pier 33: Remove, repair, and/or replace deteriorated structure, roofing materials, roof decking, windows, parapet elements, ladders, flagpoles, conduit, roof equipment and related utility connections, and roof drainage system. New overflow drains will be added to the roof system. There are two additive bid alternates to upgrade the bulkhead or shed portions of the roof diaphragm at Pier 9. Question Deadline 10/21/2025 at 4:00 PM PT Prior to receipt of Bids, should a Bidder find discrepancies, ambiguities, or conflicts in the Bid Documents, or should there be doubt as to meaning of a provision or requirement, the Bidder shall notify at once the City in writing using the Questions on Bid Documents (QBD) form (Section 00 21 14), issued with the Bid Documents as a fillable Word file, and submit the same by email to the Project Engineer/Architect as specified on the form. The City may not answer questions received after 4:00 PM and less than three (3) business days prior to the date for opening Bids This contract includes, but is not limited to: o Pier 9: o Removal, repair, and/or replacement of deteriorated roofing materials, roof decking, parapet elements, roof drains, exterior lighting and conduit, sheet metal caps at parapets and roof features; flagpole; limited repairs of spalled concrete parapets as needed for fall hazards; o Installation of new exterior lighting and conduit, installation of sheet metal caps at parapets and at flagpoles, refinish of existing steel roof access ladders with new hot dipped galvanized coating; o Temporary relocation and re-installation of rooftop equipment, accessories, as needed to proceed with work. o Hazardous Materials abatement, mitigation, and/or containment as required for work listed above. o Pier 33: o Removal, repair, and/or replacement of deteriorated roofing materials, roof decking, parapet elements, roof drains, exterior lighting and conduit, sheet metal caps at parapets and roof features; flagpole; limited repairs of spalled concrete parapets as needed for fall hazards, roof support structure, primary structure, clerestory windows, and exterior walls. o installation of sheet metal caps at parapets and at flagpoles, refinish of existing steel roof access ladders with new hot dipped galvanized coating; o Temporary relocation and re-installation of rooftop equipment, accessories, as needed to proceed with work. o Hazardous Materials abatement, mitigation, and/or containment as required for work listed above.
