Renovation of a fire / police facility in Saint Charles, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
The City of St. Charles, Missouri is seeking sealed proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide design and construction services for the renovation of Fire Station 5, located at 1650 Hawks Nest Dr., St. Charles, MO 63303. The project includes, but is not limited to, interior renovations to the kitchen, main bathroom, and the bunk room. Renovations include splitting a communal bathroom into two separate bathrooms, changing the layout of the Day Room/Dining Room and kitchen for a more open floor plan, and reconfiguring all the MEP. Kitchen renovations will include replacing the kitchen cabinets, installing LED lighting, and replacing the ceiling grid. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site walkthrough is required, with sign-in necessary for eligibility to bid. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informality or irregularity in any proposal received. Main Bathroom: - Replacing two closet showers with 1 larger shower Bunk Room: - Replacing doors on individual bunk rooms - Replacing carpets - Updating lighting/ceiling grid Any questions related to the RFP shall be submitted to Paul Feldmann, Purchasing Manager, at purchasing@stcharlescitymo.gov.
