Renovation of a fire / police facility in Saint Charles, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.

The City of St Charles is seeking sealed proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide design and construction services for the renovation of Fire Station 1, located at 911 N. 6th St., St. Charles, MO 63301. The project includes interior renovations to the kitchen, main bathroom, and the bunk room. Renovation work will include, but is not limited to: demolishing a wall that partitions the "dining area" and the "kitchen" and demolishing a wall that partitions the "day room" and the "dining area." Attendance at a Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Walkthrough is mandatory for interested contractors. The submitting party acknowledges the right of the City to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities or irregularities, and to act as the sole judge of compliance with the specifications. This project would cover some light renovations in Fire Station 1's kitchen, bathroom and bunkroom. Please see the attached for a layout of the Fire Station. The renovation work will include but is not limited to the following: Kitchen: - Demolish a wall that partitions the "dining area" and the "kitchen". - Demolish a wall that partitions the "day room" and the "dining area" - Replacing the cabinets and counter tops to accommodate the new layout of the kitchen. Main Bathroom: - Splitting the communal bathroom into three separate bathrooms.
