The Judiciary, State of Hawai‘i anticipates the possible need, on a limited scale, for various design professional and related consultant services including (but not limited to): Architecture; Engineering (various branches such as electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, environmental, etc.); Fire Protection; Landscape Architecture; Planning (including physical planning, environmental assessments and impact statements); Interior Design; and Construction Management. These services are sought for consultant contracts below $500,000 and construction costs below $2,500,000 for limited-scope additions, alterations, and/or renovations for state-owned facilities statewide occupied by Judiciary offices and programs. Interested persons or firms must submit a letter of interest with a statement of qualifications including: (1) a background description of the person or firm, with statements of qualifications and experience for relevant services performed in Hawai‘i within the past five years; (2) individual resumes for principals/owners and key staff members; (3) five or more client references; (4) optional company or firm brochures; and (5) any other relevant information or materials. Submittals must be sent by email, and the submitter is responsible for timely, complete, and correctly formatted transmission. To be eligible for award and prior to contract execution, the Consultant must submit current compliance documents pursuant to HRS 103D-310 (preferably through Hawaii Compliance Express) and current professional liability insurance of $1,000,000.00 per claim and $2,000,000.00 annual aggregate. Submittal packages and formats used for other public agency solicitations are generally acceptable if minimum requirements are met. Previous respondents must provide new submittals for FY 2026. All submissions will be used for the provider selection depending on Judiciary needs during the fiscal year and according to state procurement laws and procedures.
