As of November 11, 2025, No Qualifying Quotes Received for the project. Project will rebid but no definite date yet. The Department of Natural Resources requires the replacement of the existing overlook structure and trail bridge, along with trail rehabilitation due to erosion at Blackhawk State Historic Site, Rock Island County, Illinois. Work includes constructing a boardwalk, pedestrian bridge, outlook, and railings. Tasks shall include removal of existing structures and concrete, boring and pouring concrete footings, installing new posts, decking, railing, wood structures, grading, and shaping landscaping. The pedestrian bridge is approximately 25 feet in length. The overlook structure is approximately 11 feet by 12.5 feet. There is approximately 100 feet of boardwalk. Structure-related work includes removal and replacement of existing materials and construction of new substructure components, foundations, and decking. The vendor shall provide all equipment, labor, and materials necessary and reasonably incidental to the completion of the project.
