Site work for a water / sewer project in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Repairs to the existing Eslava Creek concrete drainage flume. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the State of Alabama and possess the required classification. All bids must be submitted on the provided forms with all accompanying documents. Bid packages will not be issued after the specified deadline and no questions will be addressed after the cutoff date. A mandatory pre-bid conference must be attended by a principal or employee of the contracting company; failure to attend will result in disqualification. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for 5% of the bid amount (maximum of $10,000). Performance and labor/material bonds equal to 100% of the contract amount are required. Insurance documentation must also be provided. Compliance with applicable state codes and payment of prevailing wage rates is required. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
