Renovation of a military facility in Edinburgh, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade military facility.
Bids are invited for the renovation of Camp Atterbury Building 520, Indiana Army National Guard. Proposals must be submitted via email on the proper bid form and delivered with the bidder's name and address. A bid bond, minimum five percent of the maximum bid including all additive alternate bids, must be included. Bidders must be Certified Contractors with a valid Certificate of Qualification 1542.04 from the Certificate Board, and be qualified in the classification of the prime contract. Certification with the Department of Transportation does not qualify. The work will be awarded or rejected within sixty calendar days from bid opening and is dependent on government funding. Camp Atterbury reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Contracts will be required to conform to I.C. 4-13-18 on contractor's employee drug testing. Established construction goals are MBE 7%, WBE 5%, and IVBE 3%. Blueprints and specifications are available at DPW office BLDG 232 at Camp Atterbury or upon emailed request. All RFI's and product substitution requests must be submitted in writing.
