Town of Grand Ridge CDBG-DR Resiliency Hub/Fire Station Construction of an 8,850-sf single story building and all associated site development work located at U.S.90, Grand Ridge, FL 32442. The facility is designed to accommodate the Grand Ridge Fire Department and features 5 vehicle bays with doors, two restrooms, two offices, common area, meeting room, mechanical room, kitchen, and bunker gear storage room. Site Work includes clearing and grubbing, earthwork, retention pond, reinforced concrete pavement with driveway, fencing and sodding, and underground utility construction. The project is federally funded and subject to requirements for Davis-Bacon Act prevailing wages, E-Verify, HUD Section 3, etc. Small business and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals, and firms using such subcontractors are strongly encouraged to solicit such firms in the subcontracting process. Contracts/subcontracts must comply with the necessary affirmative steps to assure that minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used, when possible, in accordance with 2 CFR 200.321.
