Site work and paving for a transportation facility in Spokane, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade transportation facility.
The work involves rehabilitating the intersection of the primary and secondary runways (RWY 3-21 and RWY 8-26) at Spokane International Airport. This includes removal and replacement of asphalt, pavement grooving, striping, and upgrades to airfield lighting systems. All construction must be performed and completed within a ten-day window, with full-length runway operations resuming immediately after. The estimated maximum allowable construction cost is $7,500,000. Instructions to bidders: Proposals for General Contractor/Construction Manager (GC/CM) Services are requested using the alternative delivery method process permitted under RCW 39.10 for public works contracting. Statements of Qualifications must be submitted to the Spokane Airport Board. A mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held, and participation is required. The project is partially funded by a grant from the Federal Aviation Administration and is subject to federal requirements including Buy America Preference, Foreign Trade Restriction, Davis Bacon Act, Affirmative Action, Debarment and Suspension, Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988, and other federal requirements as identified in the contract documents. Women, Minority, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, and small businesses are encouraged to participate.
