Reference Number 0000401005 Questions are submitted online No Furnish Easton beach with Ligeguard Towers The City of Newport Public Services-Recreation Division ("CITY") is soliciting proposals from qualified licensed contractors to construct or provide lifeguard towers to be fabricated in full accordance with the specification, terms and conditions contained in this request for proposals and attached shop drawings. The city is interested in purchasing seven (7) lifeguard towers with a completion date of May 1, 2026. Materials to be used are included within the attached shop drawings. There is one lifeguard tower currently built and available for viewing (located at Easton's Beach). You will need to arrange a site visit as it is stored in a secure area of beach property. All questions and/or inquiries should be directed to Recreation & Beach Administrator, Erik Reis, by email only at ereis@cityofnewport.com The right is reserved, as the interest of the City may require, to reject any or all bid proposals, to waive any technical defect or informality in bids received, and to accept or reject any bid or portion thereof. The City of Newport reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any proposals deemed to be for the best interest of the City.
