Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Newport, Rhode Island. Conceptual plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The City of Newport invites proposals from qualified architectural and engineering (A/E) firms to provide comprehensive design services for a new Harbormaster Building. The existing facility, located within Perrotti Park, is scheduled for demolition in Fall/Winter 2026 under a separate contract. The selected firm will be responsible for advancing the building design, preparing construction documents, supporting the bid phase, administering construction, and coordinating with project stakeholders. This includes close collaboration with MAS Building and Bridge (doing business as Reagan Marine), who have been retained by the City to demolish the current Harbormaster Building and install a new seawall along its face.
