Wray Civic Center Construction Comm. No: 245030 Reference Number 0000400896 Wray Civic Center, a facility totaling approximately 44,014 square feet. The Civic Center will serve as a cornerstone of community, cultural, and governmental functions, integrating five primary components: City Hall - providing modern administrative offices and public service areas; Event Space and Resiliency Hub - designed to accommodate up to 350 guests and equipped with a commercial kitchen to support community gatherings and emergency response operations; Police Headquarters and Emergency Operations Center - offering a secure, coordinated base for law enforcement and public safety; Wray Museum - preserving and showcasing the community's rich history and heritage; and On-site Parking Facilities - providing accessible and convenient parking for staff and visitors. The design for the Wray Civic Center is based on a pre-engineered metal building system, with full architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil specifications included in the bid package. Based upon questions received an Addendum may be issued to prospective bidders. The project will consist of furnishing labor and equipment, for the construction of Wray Civic Center building. Construction is to commence after January 26, 2025 and be completed by June 5, 2027. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % - Performance Bond 100 % - Maintenance Bond 10 % - Payment Bond 100 % The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond with sureties listed by the United States Treasury Department as Acceptable Sureties, in a penal sum not less than the total contract price The Owner will award the contract to the responsible bidder submitting the lowest and best proposal or, at its sole discretion, may reject any or all proposals. PN - 23.0720.S.01 Immediately following the virtual pre-bid meeting, City staff and WOLD Architects & Engineers will conduct an on-site walkthrough. Bidders are encouraged, but not required, to attend. No registration is necessary for this site walk; attendees should gather at the project site immediately after the virtual meeting concludes. The project site is located at 670 West 7th Street, Wray, Colorado 80758 (intersection of 7th Street and Highway 385). A parking area is available on the south side of the lot, and accessible from 8th Street. For bidders unable to attend the walkthrough following the meeting, the City will accept appointments for staff-led site visits up until the bid closing date and time. Please note that WOLD Architects & Engineers will not be available for future site visits.
