Renovation of an educational facility in High Point, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

Air Cooled Chiller replacement at High Point Central High School, which includes removing and replacing three air-cooled chillers, removing three external primary pumps, providing three new air-cooled chillers with manufacturer pump package, removing existing secondary pumps, and providing and installing new in-line secondary chilled water pumps. The project also includes a controls upgrade and power connections. Bidders must be properly licensed for the work in accordance with Section 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. They are required to provide a 5% Bid Bond and 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds. The awarded vendor must comply with E-Verify requirements. Forms showing good faith efforts to obtain Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise participation must be submitted with each bid. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities and irregularities. The goals set for participation by MWBE firms as subcontractors have been set at 12.46%. GCS goal for goods and services has been set at 10%.
