**Rebid from 01/14/26 opening per Addendum 2** Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to complete roadway, drainage, and stormwater improvements in accordance with the 2024 NCDOT Standard Specifications, Roadway Standard Drawings, and project special provisions. Work includes grading, erosion control, vegetation establishment, installation of SCM cleanouts, check dams, impermeable liners, and drainage structures; concrete and asphalt paving; curb, gutter, and stamped concrete; and foundations for metal poles. All work shall meet City of High Point requirements, BABA provisions, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations, with final acceptance based on specified quality and performance standards. All miscellaneous work related to the above. Quantities and major work items are more thoroughly described herein. A pre-bid conference is referenced, where City staff will be available to discuss the project and answer pertinent questions including MWBE requirements. General contractors shall observe "An Act to regulate the Practice of General Contractors" (Section 87-1 through 15). Copies of Contract Documents and Plans may be obtained from Duncan Parnell by depositing a nonrefundable fee per set. Contract documents and plans are also available at listed public plan rooms. No proposal shall be considered unless accompanied by a deposit of five percent (5%) of the total bid, either as a certified check or bid bond. Separate performance and payment bonds, each for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, will be required after bid award. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive irregularities and informalities, as may serve its best interest.
