Renovation of an educational facility in High Point, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade educational facility.

Work includes demolishing and replacing the existing 200 ton cross flow cooling tower, piping, electrical, and structural frame. Provide a new tower with all accessories, structural steel support frame on existing footings, new piping (including replacement of underground piping), associated electrical work, and BacNet controls system modifications, programming, and integration to the existing Alerton open protocol BacNet BMS system. Flush, fill, and vent piping to tower; provide cleaner, water treatment, and tower startup. All work is to be included in a single prime contract to the successful bidder. Bidders must furnish all materials and labor, properly license for the work per North Carolina regulations, and comply with E-Verify requirements. A 5% Bid Bond and 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds are required. No bid may be withdrawn for 60 days after the closing time. Bidders are encouraged to include minority and women-owned business participation forms. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive informalities and irregularities.
