No definite date for rebid.** The scope of work includes installing hardscape surfaces, seating, planters, trash receptacles, steel archways, lighted bollards, string lighting, electrical outlets, and all other work described in the contract documents. All work must be completed within 90 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Instructions to bidders are as follows: Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes containing one original and two certified copies, labeled with the Bidder's name, address, and the name of the project. Bids must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from an authorized surety company, and either a Bid Bond or Certified Check for at least 10% of the bid amount (not exceeding $20,000.00). A performance bond and labor and material (payment) bond for the full amount of the project is required from the successful bidder. Proposals will only be accepted from properly qualified bidders. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids or waive informalities if not detrimental to the interests of the Owner. Bidders must comply with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, including affirmative action requirements and public disclosure provisions. The City is not responsible for documents obtained from sources other than those specified. No oral interpretation and or clarification of the meaning of the specifications for any goods and services or construction will be made to any bidder. Such request shall be in writing, addressed to the Owners representative stipulated in the specification. In order to be given consideration, a written request must be received at least seven (7) business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bid.
