Renovation of a mixed-use development in Clarion, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
The project will consist of 3 separate areas within the hospital. The ER Reception/ Waiting Room is currently the existing ER waiting room. The new ER Check In/ Waiting Room will create an afterhours waiting room for the ER with lockdown capability, new check-in registration, and waiting area for daily use. The main level Kitchen & Cafe will consist of an updated washroom layout along with finishes and layout updates to the Dining, Kitchen, and Serving areas. Lower-Level Accounting consists of renovating an existing storage room to new office space and updating an existing office space with new finishes. The project is anticipated to start January 13th of 2026 and be completed by June of 2027. Qualifications are being requested for the following contracts: o Bid Package #4.1 - Masonry o Bid Package #6.2 - Millwork Supplier o Bid Package #8.3 - Aluminum Glass o Bid Package #9.2 - Flooring o Bid Package #9.6 - Suspended Ceilings o Bid Package #9.7 - Painting o Bid Package #10.3 - Interior Signage o Bid Package #21.1 - Fire Sprinkler o Bid Package #22.1/23.1 - Plumbing/ HVAC o Bid Package #26.1/ 27.1/ 28.1 - Electrical/ Communications/ Electronic Safety & Security Prequalification Criteria 1. Firm's Experience as a Contractor 2. Capacity of Key Personnel 3. Technical Competence 4. Capability to Perform 5. Past Performance of Firm & Employees 6. Firm's Safety Record 7. Compliance with State and Federal Law
