The scope of work includes changing out existing customer water meters at specified locations for the Henderson County Water District. The new meters to be installed are Neptune Mach 10 models with cellular endpoints, provided by the District. The successful bidder must: 1) replace each specified meter, 2) ensure water service, absence of leaks, meter functionality, and cellular reporting with the Neptune Field Manager app, and 3) identify the service line material on both utility and customer sides, logging this information with photos in the ESRI Field Maps app and submitting paper logs. Existing meters removed must be returned to the District. Bids may specify separate prices for direct-bury meters and those on setters. There is no bid form provided. Sealed proposals must be marked appropriately, and mailed proposals must be enclosed within another envelope. The District reserves the right to reject any unbalanced or non-conforming bids. Bidders must comply with equal opportunity and anti-discrimination regulations as specified by relevant federal executive orders and acts. Minority firms are encouraged to participate.
