Renovation of a mixed-use development in Columbus, Ohio. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This project involves replacing the roof on Building 1A at the VA Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. The contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision as specified in the drawings and specifications. Work includes removal of existing roofing, repair or replacement of underlayment, fascia, and gutters, installation of new trusses for a sloped roof at an existing enclosed connector, new roofing, and new venting. Minor interior and exterior construction such as brickwork, drywall, and flooring will be required in areas affected by the roofing work. All construction must comply with manufacturer recommendations, applicable codes, and building standards, and be fully documented. Work is to be performed during normal daytime business hours, excluding federal holidays.
