The Butte County Resource Conservation District (BCRCD), in cooperation with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), is soliciting statements of qualifications from licensed and experienced irrigation engineering firms to provide technical assistance under contract for Butte, Yuba, Sutter, Shasta, and Glenn Counties. The selected firm will assist NRCS and BCRCD in providing engineering-related technical services to program applicants. These services are critical to supporting agricultural producers with conservation planning and the implementation of irrigation and water management practices. The selected firm shall provide technical services including, but not limited to: - Irrigation system design and evaluation. - Installation oversight and inspection of irrigation systems. - Preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. - Development of implementation requirements for program applicants. - Coordination with NRCS conservation planners and BCRCD staff. - Technical assistance and field All questions must be submitted in writing by October 8th to thad@bcrcd.org. BCRCD reserves the right to reject any or all submittals. - All materials submitted will become the property of BCRCD. - The selected firm must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements. - The contractor must be approved by NRCS.
